The first Vi Ripken Diamonds in the Rough golf tournament was held in 1998 to benefit the Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County, serving Aberdeen, Edgewood, Bel Air & Havre de Grace. This women’s only tournament is now in its 13th year and collectively has raised more than $385,000. The money raised through this tournament has allowed thousands of children and teens to benefit from Boys & Girls Clubs programming in five core areas:

Education & Career Development
Health & Life Skills
The Arts
Sports, Fitness & Recreation
Thanks to our lady golfers and our many generous sponsors, we are changing lives for the better by giving youth a safe place where they can develop skills, develop positive relationships with caring adults, be themselves and have fun!
This year’s tournament is scheduled for Friday, June 4th at the Ruggles Golf Course. Registration begins at 7:30 AM with a tee off time of 9 AM. We play by Captain’s Choice Rules and golfers of all levels are welcome. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
