Foulk appointed new President of the Board of Directors




Jan 14, 2013 (Aberdeen, MD) – Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County (BGCHC) announces Jeff Foulk, CEO of SURVICE Engineering Company, as the 2013 Board of Directors President.

Foulk has been a member of the Board since 2011 and served in various leadership capacities, including 1st Vice President.  As a recognized community leader in the Baltimore Metro Region, he has personally invested and led efforts to raise awareness and funds to serve the youth of Harford County who need the Club the most.

As the 2013 President, Foulk will lead efforts to educate the community on the critical need to invest in Boys & Girls Clubs so they can continue to inspire young people to realize their potential.

“I look forward to making a difference in the lives of as many young people as possible throughout Harford County by giving them a safe place to go where they can have fun and grow to become productive, responsible and caring citizens” said Foulk

BGCHC also announces the following as Board Officers:

  • 1st Vice President Edward J. Simon – Harford Financial Group
  • 2nd Vice President Don W. Lewis – APG Federal Credit Union
  • Treasurer Mara Sierocinski – PNC Bank
  • Secretary Joanne Salpeas – Oak Ridge Associated Universities

With help from volunteers, Boys & Girls Clubs professional staff is committed to helping young people achieve academic success, lead healthy lifestyles and develop good character and citizenship through its Formula for Impact.  The organization reaches more than 4,000 young people annually through five Clubs, Aberdeen Family Swim Center and Camp Hidden Valley.

ABOUT BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF HARFORD COUNTY:  Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County was established in 1989 by a group of concerned citizens in the Aberdeen area. In its 23 year history, it has grown to 4 Clubs and 1 extension site throughout Harford County, operation of Camp Hidden Valley, and the Aberdeen Family Swim Center and now serves more than 450 children and teens on a daily basis. Our mission is to inspire and enable all youth, especially those who need us most, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible and caring citizens.
