On Sunday, September 23, 2012, I got a chance to attend a Sunday Night Football game featuring the Ravens and Patriots. The stadium was loud and crazy, watching all the fans cheer the Ravens on. There was purple and black everywhere. Then in the third quarter fans got a chance to cheer for me, our club, The Boys & Girls Clubs of Harford County for our community service efforts. So many teens only want to take but never give back, so being an YLA was my way of giving back. I enjoyed volunteering at my club serving meals, community cleanup, Badges for Baseball, and selling items to benefits others in need. Helping people in need is important to me, because one day I was in need and the club was there for me. I never thought giving my time would win me tickets to a Ravens game, Honors Row. Community Service really pays off! Plus the Ravens won.
